Dallas Bound
Today is the first day of several missions trips on my horizon for June. We are taking a team of 5th-6th Graders downtown to serve in the heart of Dallas. I absolutely love these trips...the opportunities to pour into students are tremendous. Many of the relationships that last into highschool and beyond are developed on these trips I'm greatly anticipating what God will be teaching us these next few weeks. My trip schedule is:Dallas Food Ministry: June 5-9
West Dallas 1: June 12-16
West Dallas 2: June 19-23
Los Angeles 1: June 25-July 2
The L.A. Trip is a highschool level mission through CSM. I'm equally pumped about serving in L.A. as well. My perspective of L.A. has always been of the music industry/upscale living side. Our plan is to serve in a Youth Clinic for those suffering with AIDS. It's amazing that culture shock exists so close to home.
Please pray for our trips and that God will lead our students and allow them to grow in magnificent ways.
