A Solid Identity

Just some thoughts: I want to encourage yall to learn to define your identity in a Godly manner.

Who are you?

It's imperative that the foundation of who you are is totally based on Christ. If you reach the point where you are honestly able to say "I am a child of the sovereign God, and nothing that I go through is going to change my identity", hard times will be made much, much easier.

Recently I've relearned just how important it is to have a solid identity, not based on anything in our own lives such as relationships, material items, or talents.

I'm so thankful that God has instilled in me a foundational belief that I am totally dependent on Him alone...and as I go through hard times, I will only learn what it is God is teaching me from the trials. These hard times can't change who God has made me to be. I've done nothing to deserve His love and grace in my life, nor have I created who I am, but Christ in me.

Let Christ be the definition of who you are.
